There're not probably words to describe this absolute movie masterpiece dated 1991, directed by Gary Tousdale and Kirk Wise. The most acclaimed animation movie ever, 6 Academy nominees, for the first time also for the "Best Movie of the year". Beauty and the Beast is also one of the most beautiful movies ever, surely is on my TOP5 with others awesomeness as "The Color Purple", "Taxi Driver" and "Silence of the Lambs".

This artwork (there's no "copy and paste", it's all made from the beginning) is my idea for the 22th Anniversary cover of this stunning movie, also for its 3d release. I think is the perfect mix of the oldest movie's covers but with something more "current" and not excessively classic. This is also my tribute to Alan Menken, a marvellous genius that always composed beautiful music, probably the most able musician alive, to Kirk Wise, Gary Trousdale and at last, but not the least, to Howard Ashman, the same man who gave a mermaid her voice, and to a beast his soul... Thank you.
